Re: Can't connect to wifi

Good advice :D. We don't have any trim on our code related to ssid or password, we process the ssid obtained from the scanning process without modification. We will investigate further to find out what may be happening. For the moment we will add this warning on the "Get Started" page. Tha...

Re: Can't connect to wifi

It seems that is not a SDK limitation, instead it will depend on the security of your WiFi. If an ASCII password is used to protect WPA-PSK, the length must be between 8 and 63 characters.

Re: Can't connect to wifi

In our code, we don't have any limitations on the password's length. We will investigate if there are any limitations in the arduino-esp32 SDK.

Thanks for the advice

Re: Can't connect to wifi

I don't have more clues that could be happening. But if you have Arduino please try the following: Install the "ESP32 Sketch Data Upload" extension for Arduino ( https://github.com/me-no-dev/arduino-esp32fs-plugin ) Create a "data" folder inside your "SimpleWatch" proje...

Re: Can't connect to wifi

Hi, Some suggestions: - Be close to the WiFi spot. The watch's WiFi is not so good - Does your password have some special characters (space or others) that our keyboard might not be mapping well? - Is the firmware version 1.0.13? You can check it on "Information" settings - Is there anothe...

Re: Slow screen response

Which TWatch version do you have? For the moment we only support the V1

Sometimes the access to SPIFFS card is slow. If you watch does not respond please press the power button for 10 seconds to turn it off and the press again for 2 seconds to turn it on.

Re: Update.zip not working on V2 watch (and possibly also V3)

We deactivate versions V2 and V3 until new advice. This is because the last update of the LilyGO SDK changed the boards versions and there are new "revisions" (T-Watch Base, T-Watch-2020-V1, T-Watch-2020-V2) and there is not board specific for V3. In the previous version the board was the ...

New Web Uploader

We are happy to share with you our new feature: the Web Uploader . With this new functionality you can program your watch using only your browser. If your browser is compatible (only Chrome or Edge for now) you will see two new buttons: "Upload" and "Console" https://twatchbuilde...

Re: Can't connect

We are sorry to hear that. We always assume that the owner knows which version of the watch he has when he buys one. This watch does not have a good Wi-Fi connection, so the connection problem may be due to poor signal quality (perhaps distance?) and not the password. Our software is simply a compil...
