Re: Can't connect to wifi

From the top of my head, I had the same problem using an "SSID with space" on the ESP8266, since then I'm always making sure my SSID's don't contain spaces.

@mchavez: I indeed am using WPA-PSK, so the min 8 characters-thing makes sense.

Re: Can't connect to wifi

I had to make sure that: The password was at least 8 characters long or I would get a "Password error" After doing a WiFi scan reset the watch Go back to "Settings" -> "WiFi" and press "Change" WiFi_1.jpg Select the AP I wanted to connect to by making sure it ...

Re: How to “get started” if I have a Raspberry pi 400?

I actually just set this up last week and have been meaning to post it. This will work for any Linux distro. Thanks for stepping in, my knowledge of the Pi minimal (at best). I must admit I struggled a couple of hours, made about every mistake I could make underway lol, but it is working!! Well you...

Re: How to “get started” if I have a Raspberry pi 400?

The only real "Windows" thing used by the uploader and downloader (inside the ZIP) is the generic esptool.exe utility. This tool only manages to upload/download of binary images to an ESP, so if you're able to "Transpose" the used Windows command-line to something the Raspberry P...

Re: Update.zip not working on V2 watch (and possibly also V3)

Unfortunately no: I can only change settings to a watch the system knows (= a watch that was able to contact the server once). I'm not able to scan and connect to my WiFi, since I cannot see the screen of the watch. :( Setting the WiFi credentials in advance using a simple sketch, before using the u...

Re: Update.zip not working on V2 watch (and possibly also V3)

Unfortunately I'm not getting v2 to work with the v2 updater. I also tried to revert my watch back to a simple Arduino sketch (TTGO's GPSDisplay.ino) and then tried again, but to no avail. On serial @115200 I afterwards got: ets Jul 29 2019 12:21:46 rst:0x1 (POWERON_RESET),boot:0x32 (SPI_FAST_FLASH_...

Update.zip not working on V2 watch (and possibly also V3)

Hi, I was trying to use the Updater batch-file on my V2 watch and while it actually did everything it should do, the image doesn't work on a version 2 watch and its screen stays black after reset. C:\XXXXXXXX\TWatch>set com=COM9 C:\XXXXXXXX\TWatch>esptool.exe --chip esp32 --port COM9 --baud 2000000 ...
